Each original Gyotaku print is produced with the highest quality watercolor and oil based paint.  Each is painted on unique fabrics or imported Asian papers.  An original Gyotaku painting is characterized by irregularities in the paper that add character and individuality to the work.  

All materials are acid free and archival quality.  Each original Gyotaku painting is hand stamped and signed.  Each original comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as well as information on the art of Gyotaku.

Gyotaku Fish Prints Limited Edition – The Art of Quality Reproductions

All Jaxsfish Gyotaku fish print reproductions are produced using a process called Giclee (gee clay).  This process is used by museums and galleries around the world to make copies of original works of art.

The original Gyotaku fish print is professionally photographed to provide incredible resolution and color accuracy.  Photography provides the light necessary to catch the highlights and details of the original work. 

The piece is printed on archival quality paper using the best acid-free inks.  All matting materials are acid free and custom cut.

Limited Edition Gyotaku Jaxsfish Prints are hand stamped, signed and numbered.  Each print is certified for authenticity.
